As the business owner, I have been around boats since childhood – sail, power, self-propelled, small and large, racing and cruising. There is nothing better than messing around in boats.
The fender idea started when we bought the family boat. Four large fenders totally filled up our storage. Having developed other products and being an industrial and design engineer, we needed an inflatable fender to save space – something simple, tough, and affordable. We reasoned they’re bumpers; they don’t have to be built like an inflatable boat to go through the water.
